A Class 170 train leaves Melton for WoodbridgeMelton station is located 1.5 miles northeast of Woodbridge on the A1152. The new East Suffolk Council offices at East Suffolk House are located across the street where bus connections can be made to Rendlesham. The Sutton Hoo National Trust Site is 1.3 miles from the station, approximately a 30-minute walk. Melton Station is unstaffed and now houses a popular butcher shop.
